26″ Rims!

12/9/22 Pre-order closed, until next time….

I’ve been smitten by the combination of the 26″ x 2.3″ Rene Herse Rat Trap Pass tire on a flexible rim brake fork.  The only catch is rim selection.  I’ve been using the Velocity A23 as it’s the only lightweight 26″ rim brake rim option out there.  This rim is ok but something wider would be nice. For 650b wheel’s I’ve been using the Velocity Quill rim. The Quill is 3mm wider than the A23 and a little nicer looking. Thinking this extrusion would make a great 26″ wheel I reached out to Velocity to see if they would make some for me. Not only will they make a run of 26″ Quill rims, they will make them in any combination of spoke drillings and colors!
