Jason’s NAHBS Award Winning Track Bike

Posted on Apr 29, 2015 in From The Archives

From the archives.  Significant bikes from the past, precursors to what I’m currently doing.

Another lesson in trusting your painter, he knows what he’s doing.   We made this one for the second annual North American Handmade Bicycle Show back in 2006.  Since it was also going to be Jason’s personal bike we had complete creative freedom.  The top tube holes along with most of the aesthetic details are all Jason’s ideas.  Simple colors and ideas all blending together seamlessly to create one eye catching bike to win the award for best track bike at the show.  As far as I know, the embarrassingly large trophy still resides at Revolution Cycles in Madison, which is where my shop was at time.
