Lesley’s All Road
The perfect bike for the daily commute, road rides, exploring the gravel roads and trails of northern Wisconsin, and multi day tours.
The build:
Designed around the Compass Cycles Rat Trap Pass 26″ x 2.3″ tires,
a go anywhere bike.
Campagnolo 11 speed drivetrain: These shifters/brake levers are great for smaller hands
The new Compass ramped and pinned 11 speed chainrings: One of the best shifting setups I’ve tried.
Integrated dyno hub lighting system with a Son SL hub and Edulux II light
Rene Herse cantilever brakes
A custom Jonny Cycles front rack supporting a custom RuthWorks SF bag
The style:
Graphics and paint design by Jonny Cycles/Sanchez Paintshop
Colors by Lesley
Paint work by Black Magic Paint
The weight:
Inspired in part by the revival of the Technical Trials in France and my own curiosity I put a lot of thought into both function and weight. This one came in a 21.6 pounds complete (bag included). Not bad for a bike with a Brooks saddle, fenders, lights, platform pedals, and those ba-donk-a-donk tires.
