New Shop!

I’ve had the wonderful experience of building a new shop with some (ok, a lot of) help from my dad.  I’ve been through a lot of spaces over the years:  From my start in the Yellow Jersey basement on State Street in Madison, WI, to an unheated warehouse space,  then a slightly better space behind Revolution Cycles (leaky roof, but it had a little heat that wafted up from the basement).  After that I teamed up with Ahren (Banjo Cycles) and Zack (ZR Cycles) on a pretty ok  space near the outskirts of Madison.  From there I took a break from frame building for a few years, and more recently had a nice shared space in the bike shop I ran with my parents here in Northern, WI.    I took everything I learned from working in those spaces and applied it to the new shop.  This new cozy  24′ x 24′ shop is my idea of the perfect framebuilding workshop.  I love it.
